Ingredients

1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cups whole milk
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
In a large heavy saucepan, cook and stir 1/2 cup sugar over low heat until sugar is melted and golden brown.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, vanilla and remaining sugar until combined but not foamy
Pour over caramelized sugar.
Place the cups in two 8-in. square baking pans.
Boil water and you can steam it how you steam dhokla .

Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes.
